As part of the 2020 Wool on Wheels National Road Tour, I am pretty darn excited to bring you this brand new event.
Combining board games and knitting/crocheting/weaving in our own exclusive space for the ultimate geeky getaway.
Did I mention this is to be guilt free?
You bet it is. Lock this in to your calendar as something to look forward to. A chance to connect with fellow yarnies, meet new ones and roll some dice! Heck, you don't even have to do those things. Bring the books you've been meaning to sink into and there will be a nook for you too.
Stitch in. Geek out. Whatever this means to you, you are welcome to bring.

Costs
Registration: $165
Accommodation: I have been working with the venue and have rooms reserved for our event but these are on a first in, first served basis and do need to be taken up before DATE otherwise they get released back to the general public. This is because it is peak season. We were also granted really good rates (I compared them with with booking.com) considering it is peak season.
They are:
$150/night for a Double Room - up to 2 people
$160/night for a Twin Room - up to 2 people
$170/night for a Triple Room - up to 2 people
$190/night for a One Bedroom Suite - up to 2 people
You can add an extra person to your room for $26 per person per night.
Please do make the most of this offer as the accommodation is on site.
Food: This will be up to you. The Friday night Welcome Dinner is part of the registration cost, but there is where you get to control your budget. There is a cafe on site for Real Coffee, but to avoid cabin fever I'd recommend stepping out for lunch or dinner and enjoy a short walk about town. I'm playing this by ear myself, and I'll let you know where I'll be eating if you want to hang out with me and Ponty :)
Yarn: If you're there to stitch, I will be putting on a private pop up on Sunday morning seeing as I'm there and you're there. The morning session is exclusive to delegates only and I'll be pinching a part of our room to set this up in. Will shut for lunch and open again in the afternoon which will also be open to the public but they only have access to the yarn buffet, they won't have access to our game/crafting space.

General Agenda
Friday
I expect you'll be travelling on this day so I'll be running a rego check in late in the afternoon. Instructional details will come by email much closer in but otherwise the only thing you'll need to do on Friday is turn up, and be on time for dinner.
Saturday
Let the fun begin! Our space is available from 9am. Gaming logistics will be determined by the registration responses so there will be tables set up for specific things and and tables that will be more transient. Tables will also be set aside for crafting and quiet time. This is your day to do as you please.
Sunday
I pinch a portion of our space (walls will slide in) for a pop up zone. This will be a private pop up in the morning and a public pop up in the afternoon. The public will not have access to our space.
The rest of our space is open for you to continue on from Saturday so you will be able to leave a game out if it's still going.
5pm - start winding down as hireage of that space ends at 5.30pm but if you're sticking around, I will be too so I'll let you know where I end up for dinner.
